THE COOKING PROCESS

We use proprietary methods to preserve food in the initial stages where the vegetables and ingredients that are cooking have a chance to cook in their own juices. The flavor is enhanced greatly while preserving the highest density of nutritional value in the food. The subtle flavors come through powerfully as they become clearly discernable to the palette.

The second method employs a method where the Whole Foods are not subjected to higher temperatures than are needed. Both methods Preserves nutrients. Both methods prevent using temperatures that ruin the nutritional density of food during the cooking process, thus preserve vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in the vegetables. 

THE PRESERVATION PROCESS

The best process to preserve a whole Food Plant based meal, is to Freeze-Dry it. The reason is clear. It is scientifically proven that Freeze-Drying foods preserves 97% of all original nutrients in the food, enhances the flavor, while keeping it shelf stable for 25-30 years if properly stored.

STORAGE

We at NutriFreez, further store the finished meals in an individually vacuum-sealed bag, preventing air to spoil the product over time. It is perfectly acceptable to store these finished meals in Mylar Bags with an oxygen absorber to keep the product safe from air for many years, but we go the extra mile in preservation of these meals for the maximum time possible.
